Title: Attentional dysfunction in childhood. Findings from functional neuroimaging

Abstract: This review gives an overview of functional magnet resonance imaging in children with attentional dysfunction and its clinical implications. After a short introduction of the method and a description of children's specific requirements, findings from functional imaging studies in children with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) are summarized. Finally, future clinical and research perspectives are discussed.
